Third volume in the bestseller series, each with more than 10,000 copies soldInspiring new furnishing ideas from the award-winning designerCraft and high-tech, art and souvenirs, curated things and objets trouvés - Malene Birger skilfully combines themMalene Birger has many creative talents. She works as an interior designer and artist. She lets her graphic monochrome paintings speak for themselves, creates very personal objects and sculptures out of clay and marble and has recently designed a collection of fine jewelry. Originally, Malene Birger went out of fashion. Ever since graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in the late 1980s, she has always followed her heart professionally.
And since she is known as a nomad, this path has always been diverse and inspiring. Malene Birger's feel for materials, textures, compositions and her eclectic combinations of furniture, art and objects are unmistakable. Her characteristic furnishing style has already been presented in two successful illustrated books.
The third volume is now dedicated to the art in their houses and offers unique insights into their interior projects in London, Italy, Greece and Mallorca.

Morocco at heart.

Soft hills, warmth of the sun, silence, in the distance you can hear the sheep, on the hills the carpets are spread out to dry, colored surfaces in the otherwise so calm landscape. This image presents itself to the viewer when visiting the carpet regions of Morocco.

Each piece is unique

Each of our carpets, be it made to measure or a one-off, is made by hand in Morocco. Each piece is unique. Great designers such as Le Corbusier, Charles and Ray Eames or Alvar Aalto have already appreciated the simplicity and coziness of the hand-knotted masterpieces and have used them in their projects and living spaces. There is not only a lot of wool in one square meter of carpet, but also a lot of skill, time and dedication of the weavers from the Atlas Mountains. After the knotting process, the rugs are combed clean, washed and sheared several times before they are ready for the living room. In every carpet that we are allowed to deliver to our customers there is a piece of Morocco with its very own history
