The creative duo Charles Eames (1907-1978) and Ray Kaiser Eames (1912-1988) changed the face of America. Best known for their furniture, the couple also pioneered architecture, textile design, photography and film.
Eames' work represented a new, multifunctional modernity characterized by the combination of craftsmanship and design and the use of modern materials such as plywood and plastic. The Eames Lounge Chair Wood, made with a new plywood molding technique, became a hallmark of the 20th century. For the case study houses, the couple not only made innovative use of industrial materials, but also developed a flexible floor plan for multifunctional spaces that became a hallmark of modern post-war architecture.
Covering all aspects of Eames' illustrious oeuvre, from the earliest experiments in furniture to the seminal short film Powers of Ten, this volume examines his revolutionary influence on middle-class American interiors.

Morocco at heart.
Soft hills, warmth of the sun, silence, in the distance you can hear the sheep, on the hills the carpets are spread out to dry, colored surfaces in the otherwise so calm landscape. This image presents itself to the viewer when visiting the carpet regions of Morocco.

Each piece is unique
Each of our carpets, be it made to measure or a one-off, is made by hand in Morocco. Each piece is unique. Great designers such as Le Corbusier, Charles and Ray Eames or Alvar Aalto have already appreciated the simplicity and coziness of the hand-knotted masterpieces and have used them in their projects and living spaces. There is not only a lot of wool in one square meter of carpet, but also a lot of skill, time and dedication of the weavers from the Atlas Mountains. After the knotting process, the rugs are combed clean, washed and sheared several times before they are ready for the living room. In every carpet that we are allowed to deliver to our customers there is a piece of Morocco with its very own history
