A classic Mrirt carpet is knotted in the region of the same name, which lies in the northwestern foothills of the Middle Atlas. It is characterized by a particularly high density and incomparable softness. Since significantly more material (sheep's wool) is used in the manufacture of a M'rirt rug than in the case of a Beni Ourain, it is even heavier, bulkier, lusher, bulkier - in a wonderfully cozy way. The fluffy rugs are ideal for rooms where you walk barefoot and are therefore an excellent choice for bedrooms, living rooms and children's rooms.

Because it is made by hand, each carpet is unique: imperfections make the piece unique and set it apart from an industrially manufactured product as an original. The vertical crease that can be seen in the product image is caused by storage of the rug - once laid out, this will disappear after a few days.
