Your name is on everyone's lips. At 22, Zoë Pastel is one of the most successful influencers in Switzerland. She also works as a model and is an ambitious actress. Anyone who follows Zoë on Instagram will witness the luxurious lifestyle of a successful Instagram influencer: You can see Zoë in the spa of a 5-star hotel, jetting around between Ibiza and Tulum, expensive luxury handbags and jewellery. We were able to get to know Zoë personally and were positively inspired: The private Zoë is calm, self-confident, with a very likeable and warm personality. Zoë is natural, down to earth and close to nature. She is particularly interested in the topics of sustainability, veganism and spirituality. Beautiful values, which we also cultivate at My Beni. A friendship was born - and an apartment full of handmade My Beni products. The My Beni carpets and homeware fit perfectly into Zoë' furnishing style.

In Zoë's Yoga and Meditation Room: Our boho-patterned "Mud" pillowcases are made of pure cotton and hand-painted in Mali. Fermented and naturally colored clay is used for the ocher covers. The colorful variants, on the other hand, are stamped by hand. The cushion covers are made in a small sewing workshop in Marrakech. The traditional stools made of untreated wood and woven palm leaves are an integral part of Morocco. In every cafe and shop in the medina they are a popular place to sit and enjoy the sweetened mint tea and watch the goings on in the city.

In your home, the stool can not only be used as a seat in the hallway, but also as a shelf in the living room, bedroom or side table and gives the room a bohemian touch. (On the picture: bench in 60cm )

The beautiful My Beni rug was made by hand and made to measure for Zoë. It consists of natural new wool with its many advantages. Sheep's wool is a gift from nature and is detoxifying, odour-neutralizing, temperature-regulating and allergy-friendly - to name just a few points. The original Beni Ourain carpets are real collector's items and even increase in value over the years. Many well-known artists, designers and architects such as Le Corbusier, the Eames couple, Alvar Aalto or Frank Lloyd Wright were enthusiastic fans of Berber carpets and decorated their houses with them. With Zoë in the yoga room, the fluffy carpet ensures comfort and well-being. My Beni carpets are ideal for doing barefoot fitness exercises on them or simply letting your soul dangle.

The simple baskets (back left, with plant) are woven by hand from dried palm leaves according to traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. We maintain a friendly relationship with the manufacturer, which is located just outside of Marrakech and goes about its business with a lot of passion. The baskets can be used in many ways - both open and folded. For example as a shopping basket for fresh vegetables, as a beach chair in summer, or at home, next to the couch, for plants, the wool blanket, or the firewood in winter. The My Beni "Line" baskets (in the front of the picture, without a plant) are braided by hand with a lot of passion and from "Raphia".

In Zoë's living room you will find the "Tamazigh" and "Tamegroute" candlesticks. The unique ceramics are made in southern Morocco, at the gates of the Sahara, according to ancient traditions. The terracotta vase 'Zigzag' impresses with its minimalist, graphic shape. The unglazed surface lends the strict form a certain softness and harmony. Each piece is turned by hand in a small workshop near Marrakech and is therefore unique. 'Zigzag' can be used as a vase for dried flowers or as an object and stand alone in the room. We had the carpet in Zoë' living room made to measure for her. All My Beni rugs can be made to measure.

Zoë perfectly understood what to do with the Beni Ourain rugs: use them! Many of our customers are concerned about potential soiling or damage to the light-colored carpets. This fear is unfounded: Beni Ourain carpets are very robust and durable. The new wool is naturally dirt-repellent. High-quality My Beni Ourain carpets last for generations - and should be used by them: as an area to linger, play, cuddle or meditate. Gladly also with the children of the cat or the dog.

Coffee is a must in Zoë's kitchen! The most stylish way to drink it is from our minimalist My Beni coffee cups. These are made in a small factory outside of Marrakech. Their matt, speckled surface gives the small mugs a pleasant feel and makes them a real pleasure to hold. The cups are perfect for the afternoon espresso or milk coffee - called nosnos in Morocco. The cups are also ideal for serving with sugar or as a small flower vase.

The tagine is the well-known Moroccan casserole made of clay. Tajines have recently become en vogue in Switzerland too. With the stylish, characteristic terracotta pieces, cooking is traditionally done on fire bowls in Morocco. However, the clay pots are also suitable for cooking on electric, ceramic and gas hobs and in the oven. Our My Beni Tajine is 100% natural, made of terracotta, without glazing and additives. In North Africa, cooking in tajines has been valued for centuries. The effort is small and the result is grandiose. The ingredients are gently cooked in their own juice, which means that important nutrients and the natural taste of the products are preserved. The tajine is also suitable as a decorative object or as a smart container, for example for onions and garlic or as an innovative and functional fruit bowl. We also have the right cookbook for you.
